Demon’s Web began as another portrait sketch on July 29th 2025. As we can see here, it got a little more involved after that! This was a labor of love because just the portrait took 7 hours and 7,326 pen strokes. after adding the body and other details, still in gray scale, I added another 13 hours and 10 minutes to this work time, and another 16,281 pen strokes.
The final poster illustration you see before you took me………. drum roll please………… 17 hours and 14 minutes, ending with 23,331 pen strokes. so you better love it. I’m only kidding. It took that long and that much work because I kept putting the hands on in reverse.
